Enjoy settling in!
In Occitan, oustalou means "little house". L’Oustalou is only 19m², but you will find everything you need there, and if you are missing anything, do not hesitate to ask.
Coffee / Tea Corner
You have at your disposal a Nespresso coffee machine and a kettle placed on the small console.
Kitchenette
The kitchenette is equipped with hobs, a traditional / microwave combination oven (the manual is next to it), a refrigerator, and a toaster.
Living Room
You have a TV with ChromeCast (white remote control). The latter allows you to cast content from your phone or log in to your favorite streaming service (Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, YouTube, Deezer, Spotify, etc.).
You can benefit from our Deezer and Netflix accounts. Please use the "Oustalou" profile.
The height of the table is adjustable using the crank located on the base (coffee or dining table).
Exterior
On the terrace, you have a small table to eat your meals while looking at the landscape.
In the small garden at the back, you have a lounge area to enjoy the sun and a gas plancha for grilling (utensils and cleaning product are stored in the kitchenette).
Heating / Air Conditioning
You can adjust the thermostats of the bedroom convector and the bathroom towel dryer to your liking.
Above 23°C in the accommodation, the convector turns off automatically. It turns back on as soon as the temperature drops below 23°C.
You can adjust the air conditioning for your comfort.
The air conditioner (and the exterior lights) are controlled by the small touch screen located to the right of the bay window inside.
To avoid unreasonable use, we have limited the temperature range.
The heating and air conditioning switch off automatically when the bay window remains open.
Insects
You will not be bothered by mosquitoes, which are very rare here.
On the other hand, due to the proximity of farms and animals, we have flies that can become a nuisance.
We recommend that you close the white voile curtain securely when the bay window is open to prevent them from entering.
If, despite this precaution, you have intruders in the accommodation, you have at your disposal an electric racket in the coffee maker cabinet and an insecticide spray placed on the wardrobe.

Lozère is rich in magnificent landscapes crossed by many hikes.
Here are some suggestions.
Hiking
We are located near many hiking trails.
You will find route ideas in the guides available in the gîte or on this website
You can also "get lost" on the many trails around Nozières.
Two long-distance hiking trails (GRs) pass nearby:
St. James Way
The GR65 passes through Aumont-Aubrac (3km), heading towards Nasbinals, it climbs onto the Aubrac plateau and its vast expanses, while heading towards St Alban sur Limagnole, it crosses the Margeride massif.
Tour des Monts d’Aubrac
This GR (long-distance hiking trail) crosses our pretty hamlet of Nozières. As its name suggests, this loop allows you to explore the Aubrac plateau.
Lakes Charpal and Moulinet also offer very nice easy walks along the water's edge.
Electric Mountain Biking
In Aumont-Aubrac (3km), Gévaudan Vélo offers daily or half-day rentals.
Several routes are offered, with different distances and levels of difficulty.
Parc des Loups du Gévaudan (Wolf Park)
in Sainte-Lucie (20km), the Parc des Loups du Gévaudan is an animal park which brings together more than a hundred wolves living in semi-freedom in two parks.
Réserve des Bisons d’Europe de la Margeride (bison reserve)
in Sainte-Eulalie (30km), the Réserve des Bisons d’Europe de la Margeride is an animal park created as a complement to the European bison rescue plan carried out in Poland since the 1920s.
There you will be able to observe bison living in semi-freedom in the magnificent landscapes of the Margeride.
A little further away...
You can also explore the Tarn and Jonte Gorges and the surrounding Causses, the Cévennes and the foothills of Mont Lozère. The landscapes of Lozère are varied.
Heading back north, there are also the Cantal Mountains, notably the Puy Mary, which offer very different, but equally magnificent, landscapes.
The accommodation must be vacated by 12:00 PM
